Fandango’s Flash Fiction Challenge #123
She looked at her painting. Her painting of friendship. No matter how she looked at it, it did not reflect her friendship with the other two.
They were called “The Three Musketeers”, so why did she always feel like an outsider when they were together? Like the two of them were confidantes and she was an interloper?
She looked at her painting again. Two women sharing an umbrella and another by herself. She decided to rename the painting.
“The Farthest Distance in the City”
